Investor MVP · 6 weeks · $18K fixed

Production-grade MVP. 6 weeks. $18K.

A fully architected product investors can poke at, engineers can deploy, and you can iterate on. Not a prototype. Not a one-off. A real foundation — with a 30-day warranty.

A multi-feature product with architecture that scales.

Every choice goes into your Architectural Decision Record (ADR), so your next engineer knows why — not just what.

In scope

  • Relational database with thoughtful schema design
  • Auth + role-based access control
  • Versioned API with documentation
  • Automated test suite (unit + integration)
  • CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
  • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform / CFN)
  • Monitoring + error tracking (Sentry, DataDog)
  • Admin panel for basic operations
  • Data export / import capabilities
  • Deployment docs your first engineer will read

Out of scope (we'll say so)

  • ×Native mobile apps (scope separately)
  • ×Advanced ML ops pipelines (unless core)
  • ×Compliance certifications (built compliance-ready, not certified)
  • ×24/7 managed hosting (you own the AWS/GCP account)
  • ×Marketing website
Scope-change ruleMid-sprint additions extend the timeline + cost. We track every change in writing — you decide what's worth the delay. No surprises.

Backend language follows your data model. Frontend follows your UX needs. Infra follows your compliance posture. We pick once, write down why, and you can hand the doc to any engineer.

Why 6 weeks is honest.

Assumes 2–3 quick clarification calls per week, scope locked in week 1, and core workflows defined upfront. If any of that slips, we tell you the new end date the same day.

Week 01

Requirements & SOW

Architecture decisions, stack lock, signed SOW with scope + price.

Week 02

Backend foundation

API skeleton, database schema, auth layer, CI pipeline live.

Week 03

Core endpoints

Workflow logic, 3rd-party integrations, unit tests passing.

Week 04

Frontend build

UI for all workflows, admin panel, design polish on demo paths.

Week 05

Integration

FE↔BE end-to-end, integration tests, error tracking wired up.

Week 06

Deploy & UAT

Production deploy, runbook, UAT with you, GitHub Owner handoff.

What VCs check during due diligence

A production-grade MVP checks all four boxes.

A weekend MVP checks maybe one. Investors ask the same questions every time — here's how we answer them in your codebase before they're asked.

01

Working product

Does the core workflow work without crashing? Yes — tested + monitored.

02

Data model

Is the database thoughtfully designed for scale? Indexed, normalized, documented.

03

Team signal

Can your first engineer understand and extend this code? ADR + tests + comments.

04

Operational rigor

Deployment docs, reproducible bugs, rollback plan. Yes to all three.

Flagship Sprint · 10 weeks · $38K

Air-freight predictive intelligence platform.

Non-technical founder, six weeks to a tier-1 VC conversation, no working tech. We shipped: Python/FastAPI ingesting real-time port data, XGBoost model trained on 5 years of congestion history, React dashboard with Mapbox routing, AWS VPC, 82% test coverage. GitHub Owner transferred, customer team continues development independently.

FAQ

Direct answers.

Is 6 weeks realistic for my feature set?
Depends. We spec it in week 1. If it's too big, we scope down together or recommend Flagship Sprint. We never agree to ship something we can't.
What if I need to add a feature mid-sprint?
We track scope in the SOW. Mid-sprint additions extend the timeline. We tell you the new end date + revised cost immediately. No surprises.
Can I hire my engineer to take over during week 3?
Yes — they can review code in week 3. We keep building. By week 6, your engineer maintains and extends, not rebuilds.
Will the code be a mess if you're moving fast?
No. Fast doesn't mean sloppy. We follow SOLID principles, write tests, document decisions in an ADR. Clean enough that a capable engineer extends it on day one.
Who maintains the code after delivery?
You do. If you want us to maintain, we offer a Phase 2 retainer ($6–10K/month) with the same core team. Otherwise, it's yours and your team's.
Who owns the IP?
You do. Fully assigned in the SOW.
