Our client, a U.S. healthcare provider, operated with a fragmented digital ecosystem where critical patient data was siloed across multiple, disconnected platforms for e-prescribing, billing, and lab management.

Requirement

1.1. Purpose

The main goal is to integrate multiple disparate third-party systems for e-prescribing, billing, and labs into one cohesive platform. This provides a single source of truth, empowering clinicians to manage patient information effectively and enhance the quality of care.

1.2. Detail Requirement

Integration with DrFirst

  • Integrate DrFirst's API based on their guidelines and integration portal.
  • Support solution definition and UI/UX design for successful API integration.
  • Test with DrFirst's auditor and obtain certification for integration.
  • Enable providers to add, update, and remove patients' health records, diagnoses (ICD-10), medications, and allergies.
  • Allow providers to view patients' health records on DrFirst and perform E-Prescribing.
  • Implement search functionalities for medication problems, allergies, and medications using DrFirst's FirstDataBank.
  • Manage provider roles and DrFirst's RcopiaID for specific system features access.
  • Provide notification count for prescribing information.

Integration with Kareo

  • Integrate with Kareo's API using their integration document and SOAP API.
  • Enable providers to create and update billing information that matches appointments for each patient's health plan and submit it to Kareo.
  • Manage patient's health plan, billing, and information from both Kareo and the system.

Integration with Lab Order

  • Manage patient's lab orders, request reports, and retrieve report status from the CHC Lab Order portal.
  • Integrate bidirectional data synchronization between the system and CHC Lab.
  • Enable providers to create and update patient's lab requests and report information.
  • Support viewing reports in multiple document formats such as PDF, Excel, Word, HTML, etc.
  • Provide tracking capabilities for reports from specific lab order facilities and retrieve the latest report status.

Integration with Valant

  • Manage patient's health and demographic information.
  • Manage patient IDs and match them with Valant's patient list.
  • Migrate and import data from Valant into the system.
  • Allow providers to manage and view patient information from Valant within the system.
  • Provide access to previous appointment's clinical notes, health information, and medication history from Valant's data within the system.
